Introduction
RAB6A is a member of the small GTPase superfamily. RAB6A may be involved in protein transport. RAB6A is a regulator of membrane traffic from the Golgi apparatus towards the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and has a low GTPase activity.
Description
RAB6A Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 262 amino acids (1-208) and having a molecular mass of 26.1kDa.
RAB6A is fused to a 24 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Formulation
The RAB6A solution (1 mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris buffer (pH 8.0), 10% glycerol, 1mM DTT and 0.1M NaCl.
Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks.
Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Purity
Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
