Pyruvate kinase isozymes M1/M2, EC 18.104.22.168, Pyruvate kinase muscle isozyme, Pyruvate kinase 2/3, Cytosolic thyroid hormone-binding protein, CTHBP, THBP1, M2PK, PKM2, PK3, PK2, PKM, TCB, OIP3, MGC3932, Tumor Type M2 Pyruvate Kinase.
Mouse Anti Human Monoclonal.
Pyruvate kinase is a key enzyme in the glycolytic pathway. The M2 isoenzyme of pyruvate kinase is specifically expressed at high levels in tumor cells, and can be measured in plasma of patients with advanced breast cancer. The marker is useful for measuring disease activity, sensitivity to chemotherapy and recurrence.
Anti-human PKM2 mAb, is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human PKM2 amino acids 1-531 purified from E. coli.
Mouse IgG1 heavy chain and κ light chain.
PKM2 antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-G affinity chromatography.
1mg/ml containing PBS, pH-7.4, & 0.02% Sodium Azide and 10% glycerol.
For periods up to 1 month store at 4°C, for longer periods of time, store at -20°C. Prevent freeze thaw cycles.
Stability / Shelf Life
12 months at -20°C. 1 month at 4°C.
PKM2 antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot analysis, Flow cytometry and ICC/IF to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results.
