Introduction

Pen a 1.0101 is a Tropomyosin and the only major allergen in brown shrimp Penaeus aztecus. The panallergen is highly conserved and soluble muscle protein. Pen a 1.0101 is has an alpha-helical homodimeric, coiled-coil structure.

Description

Recombinant Tropomyosin Pen a 1.0101 produced in SF9 is a glycosylated, polypeptide chain having a calculated molecular mass of 38kDa.
Pen a 1.0101 is expressed with a 10xHis tag and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Sterile Filtered colorless solution.

Formulation

Pen a 1.0101 is supplied in 20mM HEPES buffer pH-7.9 200mM NaCl and 6M Urea.

Stability

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks.
Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

Purity

Greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
