Catalogue number

ANT-087

Synonyms

TP53I3, PIG3, Quinone Oxidoreductase, tumor protein p53 inducible protein 3.

Type

Mouse Anti Human Monoclonal.

Introduction

TP53I3 participates in the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS). TP53I3 has low NADPH-dependent naphtoquinone reductase activity, with a preference for 1,2-naphtoquinone over 1,4-naphtoquinone. TP53I3 has low NADPH-dependent diamine reductase activity (in vitro). TP53I3 is localized to the cytoplasm and induced in primary, non-transformed and transformed cell cultures after exposure to genotoxic agents. TP53I3 microsatellite polymorphism is associated with differential susceptibility to cancer.

Clone

P1C9AT.

Immunogen

Anti-human TP53I3 mAb, is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with a recombinant human TP53I3 amino acids 1-332 purified from E. coli.

Ig Subclass

Mouse IgG2a heavy chain and ? light chain.

Purification Method

TP53I3 antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-G affinity chromatography.

Formulation

1mg/ml containing PBS, pH-7.4, & 0.1% Sodium Azide.

Storage Procedures

For periods up to 1 month store at 4°C, for longer periods of time, store at -20°C. Prevent freeze thaw cycles.

Stability / Shelf Life

12 months at -20°C. 1 month at 4°C.

Applications

TP53I3 antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:3,000.
