Synonyms

NADH dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] 1 alpha subcomplex assembly factor 4, Hormone-regulated proliferation-associated protein of 20 kDa, NDUFAF4, C6orf66, HRPAP20, HSPC125, My013, bA22L21.1.

Introduction

NADH dehydrogenase [ubiquinone] 1 alpha subcomplex assembly factor 4 (NDUFAF4) is involved in the compilation of mitochondrial NADH: ubiquinone oxidoreductase complex (complex I). In addition, NDUFAF4 is involved in cell proliferation and survival of hormone-dependent tumor cells. NDUFAF4 may also be a regulator of breast tumor cell invasion. NDUFAF4 gene mutations cause the mitochondrial complex I deficiency.

Description

NDUFAF4 Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 198 amino acids (1-175) and having a molecular mass of 22.7kDa.
NDUFAF4 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Source

Escherichia Coli.

Physical Appearance

Sterile Filtered colorless solution.

Formulation

The NDUFAF4 solution (0.5mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.15M NaCl, 10% glycerol and 1mM DTT.

Stability

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks.
Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
