Introduction
AHA1 is a cochaperone that stimulates hsp90 ATPase activity. AHSA1 binds the middle domain of Hsp90 (amino acid 272-627) and functions as an ATPase-activating protein that competes with p23 and other co-chaperones for Hsp90 binding.

Immunogen
Anti-human AHA1 mAb, is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with a recombinant human AHA1 protein 19-337 amino acids purified from E. coli.

Purification Method
AHA1 antibody was purified from mouse ascitic fluids by protein-A affinity chromatography.
Formulation
1mg/ml containing PBS, pH-7.4, 10% Glycerol and 0.02% Sodium Azide.

For periods up to 1 month store at 4°C, for longer periods of time, store at -20°C.

Applications
AHA1 antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot analysis and ICC/IF to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended starting dilution for Western blot analysis is 1:1000.
