Introduction

Syntaxin 3 (STX3) is a member of the syntaxin family. The syntaxin family members are cellular receptors for transport vesicles which participate in exocytosis in neutrophils. STX3 has a significant role in the growth of neurites and functions as a direct target for omega-6 arachidonic acid. STX3 is steered to the apical membrane of epithelial cells where it forms clusters and is vital in establishing and maintaining polarity required for protein trafficking involving vesicle fusion and exocytosis.

Description

STX3 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 288 amino acids (1-263 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 33.2kDa.
STX3 is fused to a 25 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Source

E.coli.
