RAB1A member RAS oncogene family, YPT1-related protein, DKFZp564B163, GTP binding protein Rab1a, Rab GTPase YPT1 homolog.
RAB1A belongs to the ras-related superfamily. Rab proteins have a central part in either in endocytosis or in biosynthetic protein transport. Rab1a protein controls vesicle traffic from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi apparatus.
RAB1A produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 225 amino acids (1-205.a.a) and having a molecular mass of 24.8kDa.
RAB1A is fused to a 20 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Sterile Filtered clear solution.
The RAB1A protein solution (0.5mg/1ml) is formulated in 20 mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 0.1M NaCl, 1mM DTT and 20% glycerol.
