Description

Pfu-ssod7 DNA Polymerase is derived from E. coli, having a molecular mass of 100 kDa. The Pfu-ssod7 DNA Polymerase possesses the following activities: 5´→3´ DNA polymerase activity and 3´→5´ exonuclease activity. It generates blunt ends in the amplification products. The Pfu-ssod7 DNA Polymerase brings together a Pyrococcus furiosus DNA polymerase with a proc+essivity-enhancing domain Ssod7.

Physical Appearance

Sterile liquid formulation.

Formulation

20mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0), 50% glycerol, 0.1mM EDTA, 100mM KCl, 1mM DTT, 0.1% Tween20 and 0.1% NP-40.

Stability

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).

Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
