Introduction

Nudix Type Motif 4 (NUDT4) regulates the turnover of diphosphoinositol polyphosphates. The turnover of these high-energy diphosphoinositol polyphosphates exemplifies a molecular switching activity with significant regulatory consequences. Molecular switching by diphosphoinositol polyphosphates may be a factor in regulating intracellular trafficking.

Description

NUDT4 produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 203 amino acids (1-180 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 22.7kDa.
NUDT4 is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Source

Escherichia Coli.

Sterile Filtered colorless solution.

Formulation

NUDT4 protein solution (0.5mg/ml) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 10% glycerol and 0.1M NaCl.

Stability

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
