                                Introduction
GABARAP is a ligand-gated chloride channel that mediates inhibitory neurotransmission. GABARAP is highly positively charged in its N-terminus and shares sequence similarity with light chain-3 of microtubule-associated proteins 1A and 1B. GABARAP clusters neurotransmitter receptors by mediating interaction with the cytoskeleton.
                                Description
GABARAP Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated,
polypeptide chain containing 137 amino acids (1-117 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 16 kDa. GABARAP is fused to a 20 amino acid His-Tag at N-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
                                Source
Escherichia Coli.
                                Physical Appearance
Sterile filtered colorless solution.
                                Formulation
GABARAP solution (1mg/ml) containing 20mM Tris-HCl pH-8, 0.2M NaCl and 20% glycerol.
                                Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
