Cor a 9, an 11S legumin-like seed storage globulin is a major allergen from Corylus avellana. Cor a 9 is associated with severe systemic reactions. Sensitization to Cor a 9 indicates primary hazelnut allergy.
The native protein Corylus Avellana Cor a 9 is purified from hazelnut by protein chemical methods.
Sterile Filtered clear solution.
Cor a 9 is supplied in 20mM HEPES buffer pH-8.0, 200mM NaCl and 20% glycerol.
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks.
Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Greater than 80.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
