Introduction

Apolipoprotein H (APOH) attaches to numerous kinds of negatively charged substances for instance phospholipids, and dextran sulfate. APOH prevents activation of the intrinsic blood coagulation cascade by attaching to phospholipids on the surface of damaged cells. APOH expressed by the liver and secreted in the plasma.

Description

Bovine Apolipoprotein-H polypeptide is purified from fetal calf serum (FCS) by proprietary protein-chemical techniques, having an Mw of approximately 70kDa.

Sterile Filtered clear solution.

Formulation

APOH protein solution is supplied in 16mM Tris-HCl pH-8.0, 280mM NaCl, 0.16mM AEBSF and 20% glycerol.

Stability

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. 
Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. 
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
