Macrophage Inflammatory Protein-4 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 69 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 7813 Dalton. The MIP-4 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Escherichia Coli.
Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Lyophilized from a 0.2μm filtered concentrated (1.0mg/ml) solution in 20mM PB, pH 7.4, 100mM NaCl.
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 4 in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
Lyophilized MIP-4 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution CCL18 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Greater than 97.0% as determined by: (a) Analysis by RP-HPLC. (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.
The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Ala-Gln-Val-Gly-Thr.
The Activity is calculated by the ability to chemoattract Human T lymphocytes at 1.0-10.0 ng/ml.
Prospec's products are furnished for LABORATORY RESEARCH USE ONLY. The product may not be used as drugs, agricultural or pesticidal products, food additives or household chemicals.
