Introduction

Dual specificity mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 3 (MAP2K3) is a dual specificity protein kinase which is a member of the MAP kinase kinase family. MAP2K3 is activated by mitogenic and environmental stress, and participates in the MAP kinase-mediated signaling cascade. MAP2K3 phosphorylates and consequently activates MAPK14/p38-MAPK. The MAP2K3 kinase can be activated by insulin, and is essential for the expression of glucose transporter.

Description

MAP2K3 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 338 amino acids (1-318) and having a molecular mass of 38.3kDa. MAP2K3 is fused to 20 a.a. His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Stability

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
