Introduction:
IFN-alpha is produced by macrophages, IFN-alpha has antiviral activities and stimulates the production of two enzymes: a protein kinase and an oligoadenylate synthetase.

Shipping Conditions:

Storage Procedures:
In lyophilized form, for long periods, store at 4^oC in a dry environment. After reconstitution, if not intended for use within a month, aliquot and store at -20^oC.

Reconstitution:
Reconstitute with sterile H20. Mix gently, wash the sides of the vial and wait 30-60 seconds before use.

Stability / Shelf Life:
Two years lyophilized, one month in solution at 4^oC.

Applications:
Direct ELISA, Western Blot, Immuneprecipitation Immunohistochemistry. This is a NON-neutralizing antibody.

Titer:
By direct ELISA, 1:10,000 dilution will yield 0.5 O.D using alkaline phosphatase conjugated rabbit anti-mouse Ig (Jackson Laboratories).

Note:
The antibody was can be used for Capture ELISA together with clone ProSpec’s Mouse Anti Human IFN-A Neutralizing antibody.
