These clone have been derived from hybridization of X63-Ag8-653 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunised with purified human insulin.

Kass for clone 7F8 is 7.5 x 109M-1. These antibody cross-reacts with human proinsulin, bovine insulin (30%) and porcine insulin. No cross-reaction with free C-peptide.
