Introduction:
IL-12 is a heterodimeric cytokine that stimulates the production of interferon gamma from T-cells and natural killer cells, and also induces differentiation of Th1 helper cells. It is an initiator of cell-mediated immunity.

Shipping Conditions:
Antibody is shipped lyophilized at ambient temperature.

Storage Procedures:
In lyophilized form, for long periods, store at 4^oC in a dry environment. After reconstitution, if not intended for use within a month, aliquot and store at -20^oC.

Reconstitution:
Reconstitute with sterile H20. Mix gently, wash the sides of the vial and wait 30-60 seconds before use.

Stability / Shelf Life:
Two years lyophilized, one month in solution at 4^oC.

Applications:
Direct ELISA, Western Blot, Immuneprecipitation.

Titer:
By direct ELISA, 1:5,000 dilution will yield 0.5 O.D using alkaline phosphatase conjugated rabbit anti-mouse Ig (Jackson Laboratories).

Note:
This antibody recognizes the entire IL-12 molecule and has no reactivity to denatured p40 or p35.
