Introduction:
Human HSP40 (heat shock protein with molecular size of 40kDa) is one of the mammalian homologues of bacterial DnaJ heat shock protein and regulates cellular processes by aiding in the folding, transport and assembly. HSP40 protein contains the J-domain which controls interaction with the ATPase domain of DnaK.

Description:
HSP40 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 360 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 40.2 kDa. The protein includes 6XHis tag fused at N-terminus.

Physical Appearance:
Sterile Filtered colorless solution.

Formulation:
The protein solution (1mg/ml) contains 20mM Tris (pH 8.0), 2mM DTT, 0.2mM PMSF and 10% glycerol.

Stability:
DnaJ although stable 14°C for 4 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C.
For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).
