Dengue Virus NS3 Recombinant

Introduction:
Caused by one of four closely related virus serotypes of  the genus Flavivirus, family Flaviviridae, each serotype is sufficiently different that there is no cross-protection and epidemics caused by multiple serotypes (hyperendemicity) can occur. In cell culture experiments and mice Morpholinoantisense oligos have shown specific activity against Dengue virus.

Description:
The E.coli derived recombinant protein contains the NS3 Dengue Virus Type 1 29-79 amino acids immunodominant regions.

Method:
Dengue protein is purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.

Purity:
Dengue protein is >95% pure as determined by 10% PAGE (coomassie staining).

Formulation:
50mM Tris-Hcl pH 8.0, 60mM NaCl, 10mM glutathione and 50% glycerol.

Storage:
Dengue protein is shipped at ambient temperature.
Upon arrival, Store at -20°C .

Stability:
Five years frozen. One month in solution at room temperature.

Applications:
Each laboratory should determine an optimum working titer for use in its particular application.
