Chlamydia is a common term for infection with any bacterium belonging to the phylum Chlamydiae. This term derives from the name of the bacterial genusChlamydiain the family Chlamydiaceae, order Chlamydiales, class and phylum Chlamydiae. Antibody is shipped lyophilized at ambient temperature.
In lyophilized form, for long periods, store at 4oC in a dry environment. After reconstitution, if not intended for use within a month, aliquot and store at -20oC.
Reconstitute with H20. Mix gently, wash the sides of the vial and wait 30-60 seconds before use.
Two years lyophilized, one month in solution at 4oC.
By direct ELISA (against purified Chalmidia LPS), 1:2,000 dilution will yield 0.2 O.D using alkaline phosphatase conjugated rabbit anti-mouse Ig (Jackson Laboratories).
