T-cell surface glycoprotein CD1a, CD1a antigen, T-cell surface antigen T6/Leu-6, hTa1 thymocyte antigen, CD1A, R4, T6, CD1, FCB6, HTA1.
At least five CD1 genes (CD1a, b, c, d, and e) are identified. CD1 is expressed on cortical thymocytes, Langerhans cells, and dendritic cells. It is absent on mature peripheral blood T cells but intracytoplasmic expression is detected on activated T lymphocytes. CD1 proteins have been demonstrated to restrict T-cell response to non-peptide lipid and glycolipid antigens and play a role in non-classical antigen presentation.
CD1A Human Recombinant (aa 19-327) expressed in E.coli, shows a 60 kDa band on SDS-PAGE. The CD1A is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Escherichia Coli.
Sterile Filtered clear solution.
