Introduction Borrelia burgdorferi is species of bacteria of the spirochete class of the genus Borrelia. B. burgdorferi sensu stricto (predominant in North America, but also in Europe), is the agent of Lyme disease and is a sub species of B.bugdorferi sensu lato.
Description The E.Coli derived recombinant protein contains the p41 immunodominant regions, 158-296 amino acids.
Method Purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.
Purity Protein is >95% pure as determined by 10% PAGE (coomassie staining) and RP-HPLC.
Formulation 20mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 10mM b-mercaptoethanol.
Storage Protein should be stored at 4°C.
Refrigerate Upon arrival.
Applications Used as an antigen in ELISA and Western Blots.
